Support » Plugin: All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall » Renamed wp-content folder

  • Hi, I have renamed my wp-content and plugins folder to other names for the purpose of obscurity (before installing this plugin).

Now, when I go to Filesystem Security->File Permissions, the entries which list the wp-content, wp-content/themes, and wp-content/plugins are all displaying the default names (e.g. wp-content) and not my modified names, and therefore their current permissions appear as 0 (zero). There is also a button that says “Set Recommended Permissions”.

I’m guessing this is because you’re just checking against hardcoded paths? You can dynamically get the wp-content and plugins folder URLs with the appropriate WordPress functions.
