Rename WordPress Folder Problems (4 posts)

Hey all. I am having an issue with renaming the WordPress folder for my site. I made sure to change the URL settings BEFORE I renamed the folder, so everything is fine in that aspect.

The problem is, because I renamed it, my site works just fine, but it doesn't seem to be pulling the theme that I have set for it. It will pull the default theme for WordPress just fine, but when I select mine, it seems to not want to pull the style.css file. The thing is, I checked my site source code, and it is looking in the right directory for the style.css.

I checked all of the files to make sure that everything was redirected to the folder that I renamed, and so far it looks.

Anything that I could be missing?

if the default theme works, the problem is your other theme. There should be no hard-coded absolute paths in there anyway... if there are, that's a problem.

also, it's possible that your css is loading, but the image urls in your css are broken, check those too.

It must be the css, because when I change the name of the folder, and set everything up, the page works, but it doesn't seem to load the css, because the page isn't even formated, let alone images showing up.
