Removing the post editor box while leaving the media upload

    This might be a long shot, but I’ve got a custom post type setup and I don’t need the editor, so I’ve disabled it, but doing so also took away my media upload buttons. Does anyone know how to get them back?

    I’m looking for a way to get rid of the editor while keeping the media upload capability. Thoughts?

    Try adding thumbnail to the supports array and see if that adds the “Set Featured Image” meta box.
