    I've just set up a new blog where I don't need comments. I have successfuly tweaked the files to remove most references to comments however, on remains and I cannot find the file to edit.

    When I click through to a full post (eg http://www.mydomain.com/?p=7) I see the "Comments are closed." note at the bottom of the page. If I look at the source I can clearly see:

    <!-- You can start editing here. -->
      <div class="post-content">
      <p>
            <span class="trackbackr"><a href="http://www.grafixwire.info/wp-trackback.php?p=7">Trackback <acronym title="Uniform Resource Identifier">URI</acronym></a></span> |
              </p>
    </div>
    <!-- If comments are closed. -->
    <p class="nocomments">Comments are closed.</p>

        <div class="navigation">
        <div class="alignleft">
          &larr; <a href="http://www.grafixwire.info/?p=6">MapleJet debuts Xaar-enabled ProDigit printers at Interpack</a>    </div>

    I have searched all the obvious places and cannot find the original file where I can edit this. Can anyone throw some light on the issue?

    Any assistance much welcomed.

    Giles

    Many thanx boober. Not quite correct, but you pointed me in the right direction. I did find the code in comment.php in the theme folder.
