removing the header (5 posts)

    Hi,
    I'm new to wordpress and before I ask my question I'd just like to say that I already love it. It's so simple. I've been looking to install MT for a week or so now and the documentation alone was too much. It just didn't seem like the right tool for me. However I installed WP in 5 minutes (as promised) and I've made fantastic progress customizing it in just a few hours. I'm not a blogger, I just wanted an easy way to post news updates on my site and it seems like wordpress is the answer.
    Anyway, onto my question. I want to remove the header (as my aim to to incorporate the wp posts into my own site design) but when I looked at the code it says :
    /* Don't remove this line. */
    require('./wp-blog-header.php');
    So I'm stuck. Isn't that the line I'd remove to get rid of my header? Can anyone help me on this one? Thanks.

    Ah... the header wasn't what I thought it was. I see that the header is just an included file that does lot of things that I don't understand :). I found the bit I wanted to remove. Thanks for your help!

    Nope ... I spoke too soon. I removed the bit I thought it was an that got rid of the "my weblog" text and the div it was contained in. However I'm still left with a gap and a green block at the top of the page http://www.lupins-place.com/index.php - how can I get rid of this? Thanks.

    What did you remove to get rid of that text? I'm trying to figure out how to get that text to go away while still having it be the title of the webpage, as my header image already has the words embedded in it.
