schneidleyIt may sound strange, but i am looking for a way to remove the post editor and post title fields from the edit.php page (the whole "postdivrich" and "titlediv" areas). I am trying to make it so the entire post is created by filling out a form (made up of custom meta fields). there would be no "content" in the post, and the title is automatically generated from info in the form... the posts function is really just used to maintain more of a listing of data, with the upkeep performed by luddite who becomes agitated when having to think about computing. i understand better, or more proper options would include having someone else maintain the data or using custom post types, but in this situation, those solutions are much more difficult to implement than you would believe...
any ideas? is this even doable without editing core code?
