    When I add a new article, at the top of the article under the title is author-admin and there is a link for admin. When you click on the admin link it goes nowhere and it is causing me broken links when my website is spidered by the search engines. How to I edit that link or remove it so when it is clicked it goes to a web page or can I remove the link so it doesn't appear at all? Please help

    You will need to delete the template tag, the_author() in your template file (probably wp-content/themes/your_theme/index.php.

    Yep, index.php
    My looks like this.

    <p><?php the_time('F jS, Y') ?> | by <?php the_author() ?></p>

    But does anyone know how to rename the author link and link it to a url?

    Fhanks.
