Is there a way that I can remove the sidebar from my landing page (the home page)? I would still like it to display on every other page, though. (My site is at: http://wwww.clipnyc.com)

    Thanks!

I've been looking around more, and I see that I need to create a custom php template... what I can't seem to figure out is how to upload the new php file to my theme's directory (I'm using Yashfa).

    Thank you!

you'd need to use ftp, or a file manager if your host offers it. once the file is uploaded into your themes directory, you'll be able to edit it from within the WP theme editor

Thank you, I think I got it!

One more question - I've removed the sidebar and expanded the width so the content is centered on the page. However, there is still this annoying vertical light grey line, leftover from the sidebar. Any thoughts on how I can get rid of that?

Never mind - I've figured it all out!
