Removing 'recent posts' without knowing code (5 posts)

So, I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of the recent posts section on our website's homepage and I have no clue how to do this. I don't have an ftp or anything like that, and I know very little about html, css, etc.

Currently, I'm using the twenty eleven theme.

Can somebody please help me figure this out?

Do you know which file (template) contains recent posts?

What is the url to your website?

Usually it's just as simple as adding one line of code to your stylesheet under the right element. If you give the url to your site we can help you figure out what to do.
