Removing Quote Box from Home Page (5 posts)

    A good friend of mine gave me a very basic template to work from, and I have just begun to dive in and edit it myself. However, there is a "quote box" in the center of the home page that I am attempting to remove. Any suggestions on how I might be able to get rid of it altogether and, if possible, insert the featured quote into the top left-hand corner of the header instead?

    Thanks!

    As I see it, your good friend has given you a premium theme (basic or not) which most of us here won't have access to. However, the quote you want to remove is just a text entered in the normal way so removing it should not be a problem. However, you may want to ask in their forums:

    Or http://themesupport.premiumcoding.com/forums/forum/premiumcoding-support-forum/

    Good luck.

    Thanks for the answer. My concern is not with removing the actual text, but with getting rid of that entire "quote box" and pushing my Slider up the page. I'll check out that other forum (thanks for the link) but if anyone else has an idea, I'd love to hear it.

    Well OK, put this code in your child theme's "style.css" file and it should work:

    #infotextwrapnivo.infotext {
    	display: none !important;
    }

    Good luck.

    Thanks for the info! I'll give that a shot.
