Removing prepended text

I noticed in your example on your site, you added the word ‘special’ to the front of the product name. This is a great idea when doing promos or special offers. However, once the offer is over, is there a way to remove the word from the front of the product name using the batch update. For instance, I would like to Append ‘BOGO Sale’ to title of all my greeting cards for a sale using batch update. And remove it when the sale is over to get the title back where it was….also using a batch update.
