[resolved] Removing "posted in (Category)? (7 posts)

    Does anyone know how to remove
    "posted in (Category)
    in Coraline? On front page mainly, but also on single post pages?

    There's an old thread on here that tells how to do it, but the instructions don't work. Maybe a theme update changed something?

    I have successfully edited templates before. Not advanced level for sure, but can do basic editing if I see which template in the theme, and which code to add or remove.

    Thank you very much!

    Make the below suggested change and any others in a child theme and not directly in the main theme itself in order to prevent loss of customizations upon theme updates.

    See http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

    Add the following at the end of child theme's style.css (WP dashboard -> Appearance -> Editor):

    .entry-info p.cat-links,
    .single-post .entry-info {
        display: none;
    }

    Thanks!

    I'll try that.

    I actually tried it in the theme without making a child theme and it worked! (thank you!) and everything else seems to still work.

    Is there any reason to do it in a child theme instead, besides danger of messing something up?

    Thanks!
