• Hi

I know the issue of permalinks has been addressed before, and I have gone through most of the topics, and the codex, but I have some question that is still unanswered.
I would like to remove permalinks from my pages, as in at the bottom of every page it shows “permalink” that I would like to take it off.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Cheers

  • If you are talking about what actually shows to visitors, (i.e. the word permalink that appears at the bottom of each post), just edit your templates. More in the codex here http://codex.wordpress.org/Templates

Why would you want to take off the permalink after each post?

If that is removed, and its the only place it is displayed, how can visitors link to an individual post from their own blog?

    Just curious.

Yeah am actaully talking about the word “permalink” as to how users see. I am integrating wordpress as a CMS in my current site and this permalink, down at each page doesnt look too neat.

I looked through codex, but couldnt find something that tells me where to remove it from. It just mentions the loop.

Can I be more demanding, and ask for some document reference in codex that can help me on this.

    Cheers
