[resolved] Removing Page Titles (30 posts)

    I have seen many topics on this subject, but none of them really make sense to me. I am trying to remove the page titles (from the page body, not the menu). Is there a simple way to do this without all this php (I think that's what it is) talk I keep seeing? Thanks in advance.

    It is very difficult to diagnose this type of problem without being able to view the site. If you post a link to your site, someone may be able to help you.

    Try adding this to the end of themes/pub/triton-lite/style.css:

    h2.postitle { display: none; }

    @esmi Of course it's a wordpress website, I made it myself on WordPress.

    @vtxyzzy Where would I find themes/pub/triton-lite/style.css? Please excuse my ignorance...

    Not according to the source markup of your home page, it isn't. I did check it. Have you integrated WP into existing .php pages?

    Go to Admin->Appearance->Editor. That should open up the style.css file in the editor window. Paste the line I gave you at the bottom of the file and update the file.

    @esmi I have no idea, I just joined WordPress and started customizing. I don't know anything .php pages or anything like that. I know it's a WordPress site though because I sign in through WP and have the WP dashboard so that's weird that it is coming up differently to you.

    @vtxyzzy Thank you for your help, but of course, with my luck, my theme does not go Admin>Appearance>Editor. Would custom design be the same as Editor?

    Take the change out and provide links to examples of what to remove and what to keep.

    Take the change out? I'm not sure what you mean. Again I really appreciate your help and apologize for my ignorance.

    If you added the line to style.css, take it out so I can see the headers. Then point out which ones you want to remove and which ones you want to keep.

    I want them both to be removed. I only want the Menu at the top to display the page names

    Please point out something that the code I gave actually removed, but that you wanted to keep.

    The code you provided removed all the post titles, such as "LeBron 10", "Resellers: A Different View", "LeBron 10 Canary Diamond"

    Please try this:

    div.single-page-post h2.postitle { display: none; }

    Tell me exactly which pages and which titles to hide and which to keep.

    Home, Lookbook, and About should be removed. All the visible page titles.

    I don't see a style.css used on that site. If you can find the proper file, try adding this at the end:

    h1.entry-title { display: none; }

    Haven't paid for the CSS customization yet so that could be why you can't see it. However, when I use the preview your code works.

    Seriously thanks for all your help, you are a life-saver.
