Removing page title help (4 posts)

    Hi,

I've made myself an image to use as the title to my site. I put the image on there just by using img src tags and didn't change anything to do with the title itself.

I was wondering how I would be able to remove the text title that still shows above the image I installed? I read somewhere that removing that text is bad for search engines or something? Is there a way that my page title will still show in search engines properly if it's not directly on the page?

And also, would there be a better way to change my title to an image without just putting in the img src tags as I have? In other words, making the image more of an official header that links to the home page, instead of just a random image.

One more question. Once I've cleared the text above my banner, is there a way to make the gap between the description below the banner and the banner a tiny bit larger?

Sorry about all the newbie related questions! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, my site is here by the way.
