Removing old custom fields (7 posts)

    Hi everyone,

I have three old custom fields I want to remove via my SQL admin panel.

Those were three custom fields for
    - a featured post image,
    - a thumbnail image for the post and
    - a large image for the post.

I used these three fields with an old theme and they are still available as drop-down items in the custom fields section of my post panel.

Because I'm not using images anymore, I would like to remove every reference to these old images (they were links entered into each custom field) by simply deleting the custom fields permanently in my site's SQL database.

My problem: I don't know in which table to find them.
    Can anyone help?

    Thanks for looking!

Found it myself, finally. They are in wp_postmeta.

Now I just need to figure out how to delete them with a SQl query. :/

You might find some clues from here, as to where else it may be:

Did you first delete the theme you had, which was using the 'Custom Fields'. Atahualpa is one theme that uses those. If that was the theme you used research it and find out what other files may be leftover, if you deleted it. Just a guess, as I don't know which theme you used. If there are residual files from it in your directory, you would want to be sure you delete those.
