   I want to remove "meta" box from my blog. How is this possible?

   if you are using sidebar widgets
   admin - appearance - widgets
   remove meta widget

   if not using sidebar widgets, open your theme's sidebar.php and comment out or remove the code - it's obvious and you can't miss it
   admin - appearance - editor
   click on sidebar.php in right sidebar
