    Hi there,
I am trying to visually clean up my site a bit and I wanted to get rid of the sections down the bottom where it has ‘search posts’ ‘latest posts’ and ‘meta’.
Is it possible to remove these from the blog?
    Thanks
    Pete

  • Yes, it is possible.

    Edit your theme’s sidebar.php

hmm, seems kinda bad but i deleted it all and now it’s all gone. So I guess that’s cool. I tried to go through and pick out individual bits but I’m not really a coder and it was all a bit hit and miss so yeah, this works.
    Thanks

If you don’t want to mess around with the code in sidebar.php, you can start using widgets (assuming your theme supports widgets). Adding and removing blocks like ‘Latest Posts’ is as simple as dragging and dropping.
