Removing Height in html to show full photosize (3 posts)

    Hi,
I have searched through this forum to get the solution to my problem, but haven´t succeded yet - I hope you can help me :)

    I use WP 2.0.4.
When I upload a photo and then choose "use original" then the image will still show as a thumbnail. If I go to the html code and remove "heigh=96" then the full imagesize shows. But I wondered if I am missing an option, so I don´t have to do this everytime?
Also is there a way to make "use original" the default action for photos?

    Thanks!

May I suggest you experiment with the options for the image which you obviously found by clicking on the thumbnail in the uploads panel?

You may not have noticed that if you click on 'using original' it changes to 'using thumbnail', similarly 'linked to image' changes to 'linked to thumbnail' and 'not linked'. See what you get by changing the options and clicking on 'send to editor' and then viewing your results to see what you like.

By the way this is without the 'visual rich editor' turned on - it may be different if you are using that. I don't get any height references in the html, just to differently sized images - the small one with 'thumbnail' added to the name.

Hey lindsepigen. Did you get this figured out? I have the exact same problem. Drives me crazy deleting that height="96" all the time.

All combinations lead to the small images except if I have it on 'using original' the images goes to the correct original size if I go in and edit the HTML.

I really wish mine would work right :(
