I am currently using the featured image option to display new posts on a scroll on the homepage, however the featured images also shows up in the top left hand corner of the blog post as well. I do not need this here and I can not figure out for the life of me how to remove the images from the post itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sorry about that. Here's the single.php file. What needs to be deleted?

I don't see anything in your single.php that is displaying the image. perhaps in your functions.php? do you have a single-post.php file in your theme at all?
what plugins are you using?

I'm using a combination of 36 different plugins but the only one that really involves the blog posts are "blog-in-blog" and "featured posts scroll". I believe the featured images in posts are programmed into the theme somewhere though.

No single-post.php, but I do have a "blog.php":
