[resolved] Removing featured image (5 posts)

    Hello,

Anybody know how to edit the header.php file to stop the theme from using the featured image as the header image? I'm using the Comic Easel plugin and it required you to upload images as featured images, which then always show up over the image as the header. Seeing the image partially doubled looks rather silly. My site is drones.epigamics.com. Thanks for any help.

    Pilcrow v1.4
    http://themes.trac.wordpress.org/browser/pilcrow/1.4/header.php

Copy over header.php from Pilcrow to your child theme.

Remove from line #L82 to #L88

Change elseif to if in line #L89

    Done.

That didn't work, but when I removed lines 79-93 it did. Thanks for the help!

…to stop the theme from using the featured image as the header image

use the solution in comment #2

but to disable the header image all together, no more any image inside the header, then use the solution in comment #3

Unfortunately comment #2 doesn't work because of this situation. But I do appreciate your help.
