Hi,
I am using the Shoutbox Theme by Kriesi.at. I really like the slider on the home page and understand you need a featured image in order to produce an image on the slider. However, I do not like that the featured image shows above the post once you click on to it. Is there a way to remove this?

as you are working with a commercial theme, please contact the theme's seller for support.
in general:
possibly in single.php, remove the the_post_thumbnail() code from the loop ...
