• On my front page of twentytwelve child: the main entry below the Page Title, when inspected with Firebug has a double paragraph spacing at the top (lot of white space) – the inspection shows as <p> </p> within div id= “main” and under div class= “post-10” etc…….

When I delete <p> </p> with Firebug, the white space disappears (so I’ve identified the problem), but you can’t edit with Firebug, so the spacing reverts back.

I tried finding the related code in style.css of twentytwelve and twentytwelvechild, but unsuccessful.

How do I delete the space permanently from my child theme? Thanks.

  • If those are added in your content, use the text editor to remove them – and avoid switching between text and visual editors until you’ve saved any changes in the one you are working in.
