Removing Desktop/Phone/Tablet Image from front page

    Hi. I’m using the Responsive theme for my website: http://www.linguistichorizons.com/

    I can’t figure out how to remove the default Desktop/Phone/Tablet image from my front page. Can you help?

    Also, I can’t figure out how to edit the text in the 3 widget boxes. I tried following these steps:
    go to Appearance > Widgets and choose 6th widget from the top in area 6 called Home Widget 1.

    but the text is not editable.
