   I'm trying to remove the date and meta stuff from my static pages. So far I've deleted the div class=date and div class=postmeta from my page template but it's still showing up. I'm guessing it's pulling it from somewhere else...

   Just to clarify I am editing the .php file in the theme directory.

   Try editing page.php.
