   I'm having an issue with the text "Continue reading →" />" displaying inconsistently in the top left of my website along with the background.

   First, I want to get rid of it completely. I have unchecked and disabled any options I could find relating to excerpts, but I think this my be a bug because it isn't even a live link.

   My website is http://www.trekfortwo.com
   and the text displays on the /about, /world-trip-2011, /packing, and /planning pages.. It doesn't display on the home page or /photo-archives, /hiking-photos, or /international-photos.

   I have Weaver 2010 installed using the "twenty ten" sub theme. Any suggestions for removing this?

   it is likely from the seo plugin that you are using, which uses improper code to generate the meta description.

   change to a different plugin.

   Sweet Thanks!!!!!! That fixed it just by deactivating the "SEO meta tags" plugin.
