Removing Comments

Go to Settings–>Discussion, and notice the third checkbox from the top, “Allow people to post comments on new articles.” Make sure there is no checkmark in this box. No comment box will be displayed for posts that you create after you uncheck the box. Previous posts will still allow comments. You can allow comments on a per-post basis for both old and new posts–look under the Discussion tab on the Add New/Edit Post page and make the appropriate change (checkmark, no checkmark) next to the Allow Comments option.
