Removing Categories from Menu Bar (2 posts)

    Hi,

Categories have suddenly showed up on my menu bar and they are most unwelcome.

I created another category and changed the default to that one thinking it might do something (WP novice here) and it didn't change anything other than now the new category is showing up on my menu bar! O.o

I am no doubt missing something truly obvious but I can't see the wood for the trees it would seem.

    - I am trying to get rid of the 'One' at the far right of the menu bar.

    Thank you kindly!

Is your theme using a WP menu? If so, go to Admin -> Appearance -> Menus to control what shows up.

If it's not, the top nav is typically held in your theme's header.php file. If you could post the menu portion of the code (starts with <nav id="top-menu"> in your page's source), we could probably come up with a solution.
