Removing Boxes In Portfolio

I would love to remove the boxes below the film images that contain the name/description. For the life of me I can’t figure out how – granted I’m not that savvy with CSS & HMTL. The site uses Organic Themes Portfolio.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

(On another note – is there an easy way to add roll over images on a page? preferably a method that doesn’t include too much code!)
