Removing border from header image (10 posts)

    I am running Frances Wright Theme. I would like to remove the border from my header image which runs throughout my site. I have the jetpack plugin and I have tried a lot of different CSS code from different posts with the same problem but nothing has worked so far. Help is much appreciated.
    My website is stroudgreenlarder.co.uk

    That theme has not been updated in over 2 years, may not longer be supported by its developer or be compatible with current/future versions of WordPress. I would strongly recommend that you switch to a more recent theme asap.

    You could add this CSS:

    #headimg {
       border: 0;
    }

    But esmi is correct, you should consider looking for another theme because you may run into compatibility problems with newer versions of WP. If you decide to stick with an older version of WP and not upgrade, then you risk having security issues in the future.

    Thank you, I have tried that coding but it's still not overriding the theme, I have tried quite a lot of variations on that so it must be how I am putting that coding into my stylesheet. I understand about the theme but I'm quite upset about hearing I will have to change it as I had grown very attached to the look of my website

    Is it in there right now? If not, can you add it back in so I can take a look?

    Very strange, I don't see it using Chrome DevTools, and I looked through all of your CSS as well and couldn't find it. How did you add it in, through JetPack?

    Yes, through JetPack.

    Yes, I don't see it in your JetPack CSS file. This is what I see. What's odd are the words MOBILE THEME, that's not CSS and should be in a comment.

    Maybe there's a syntax error in your CSS that's preventing the rule for #headimg from showing up. Can you copy & paste your JetPack custom CSS into a new pastebin so I can take a look? Just post a link to the new pastebin.

    Aha, I see that is what the problem was - the miscellaneous MOBILE THEME which was definitely there in error, I had completely missed that. Thank you so much for spending the time helping me - it's now working as you suggested and the border has been removed from the heading. Many thanks.
