I'm using the Sundance theme and wanting to remove the Gravatar image that shows up next to individual posts when you view them... it really sticks out and looks odd to me. How can I do this??

    Thanks!

You simply have to go to Setting -> Discussion in Your administration panel and turn profile images off. That's it :)

Thankyou, I tried that, and it'll work as a backup plan, but I would like to allow people commenting to keep their avatars ideally - just remove the one of me that pops up to the left of my posts. Any thoughts?

...i've stumbled on this topic searching for the same solution and there are couple plugins around here that may help you. Search for the newest plugins about "avatar" and you may find your solution: proper_avatar, avatar_manager and wp_user_avatar.

The one that i like most is proper avatar cause it's desconects the gravatar redirects and make your blog faster.

    hope it helps!
