Hi - I foolishly didn't check which Twitter account I was signed into when I did the account authentication, so have authenticated the wrong account! I can't find any way to remove/delete the account - can any body assist? Apologies if I'm missing the obvious...

Update: I was able to revoke access via Twitter, but the account is still showing up in Twitter Widget Pro noting it needs to be reauthorised. Any ideas how I can remove it completely? Thanks!

I haven't had time to add the delete functionality yet. So far unauthorizing via Twitter is the correct way to do it.

Ok - no worries. I'll keep an eye out for future updates for the widget. Thanks for letting me know!

If you know what you're doing in your database, you can search for that twitter username and then delete it that way. That's what I've just had to do.

you can search for that twitter username and then delete it that way.

I don't, as it happens, know how to do this in my database, but I'm curious and would like to learn. Anyone got instructions/tips?

@greencode - which table? wp_options? I found the twitter account I'm trying to remove in twp-authed-users option and removed it but it's still showing up in the dashboard settings. I had two authed accounts and just updated the string to remove the one I didn't want. ???

@Jeff - Umm, I'm not actually sure now. I just tried replicating what I did last time but it didn't work!

The only way I find of doing it is by deleting all authorised users and then add the one you want back in again. To do that search for "twp-authed-users" in your database (in the wp_options) table and delete the contents of that cell. It'll start something like

    "a:1:{s:13:"yourtwitterusername";a:4:{s:11:"oauth_token";s:50:"

Once you've deleted that content then the authorised twitter users will be blank again and you can just add it back.

Thanks @greencode. Didn't want to do that but you're prompting made it seem like the way to go. The strange thing, after I deleted the row the already authorized entry stayed and the one I'd removed already from the noted row was gone. I knew, though, that something was likely wrong since I deleted the row. So, I de-activated/re-activated and was being prompted to authorize the app. Did and I'm good. Thanks for the really quick reply!

Just a quick update: I've released version 2.6.0 with a nice little "remove" link under each name. Sorry it took me so long to get around to it.
