Removing an ampersand from the URL when creating a post. (1 post)

Ultimately, I'm trying to create a Podcast for my music blog (heartstringsengaged.com) and am having trouble removing the ampersand (&) from my RSS feed. Without that ampersand removed, the RSS won't be accepted by iTunes. The ampersand comes from the link that's used to create/edit a custom post type that I created. Let me explain how I got to this point...

So I followed these instructions to create a custom "Podcast" post type (http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-use-custom-post-types/) in order to get a separate RSS feed from my News feed (where it is defaulted and also where I'd like to it stay for 99.9% of my sites content.

Well I followed these instructions on getting an RSS feed on my test Podcast post (http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-make-a-separate-rss-feed-for-each-custom-post-type-in-wordpress/) and it worked magically.

Here's the test "Podcast" page I created: http://www.heartstringsengaged.com/podcasts/test-2/

Here's the feed I created for it: http://www.heartstringsengaged.com/feed/?post_type=podcasts

PROBLEM BEING: The ampersand showing up in the news feed HERE: "http://www.heartstringsengaged.com/?post_type=podcasts&p=3143" - basically while I'm editing/creating the post. So I'm asking if how to alter that URL when writing "Podcasts" posts or if there is any other EASIER way - any help would be greatly appreciated!
