  • I’m not sure you can delete a post after it’s published, but you can edit it for a short time.

After it’s published, look for the “# Edit” link in the profile information to the immediate left of the post, right after the “Posted [amount of time] ago” link.

Yes, my apologies but this was made about a day ago and the ‘Edit’ option has done a runner.

Is there an email addy or Mod I can get to help me out with this one?

did you make any progress. I need to remove a post as well.

I started a post a few weeks ago on content theft and the author has complied and removed it but he is being harassed from the thread (by people reading it here). Is there any way that I can remove the thread or at least edit it to remove the URL of his site?

    emphasis mine.

No. You only get so many minutes to edit your posts.

Can a Moderator edit my post to remove the link? I don’t want to link to it here or it will start up again.

    Can anyone help with this?

    Hi Amy.

Perhaps if you go to that thread, and post a brief note with a request to a moderator about the content, personal information, or whatever it is you are not comfortable with, and then place a tag named “modlook” on it, a moderator may consider editing/redacting/deleting that content for you.
