Remove/edit single player numbering?

    I frequently use multiple single player shortcodes on a page, but don’t always want them to be numbered straight through. Sometimes I’d like to restart the numbering (in the case of grouping by album) or remove the numbers entirely. Is this possible? I do not mind digging into the code to solve it.
