I would like to remove or edit the "Rate this Gallery" text that precedes the dropdown voting. I say "or" bc it is for a client and we have not decided on this issue. Just want to know what file to edit to pull it off.

Update. If you want to not edit the core plugin files, then you can get the premium add-on from code canyon. I updated it this morning to allow the editing of the text you want to change.
If you use the add-on, you won't have to worry about future updates overwriting your changes.

We are being stingy as this is a low budget project. I edited the core files as soon as I got your response :D
