When I installed my wordpress, I somehow added www. to my domain name, and now my domain reads http://www.dedesigner.com. Now I am having problems with linking, casue this www. typically crashs external linking. For example: If you try to translate the site, or if you try to link the site from facebook the linking is crashed. For example: facebook adds thier own frame to the links you share, and this process fails when the extra www. is present http://www.facebook.com/ext/share.php?sid=100835664797&h=Xlsg7&u=U-RHs&ref=mf

    ---------------------------
My question is, How do I remove this www. without crashing my whole site. I have tried to fix this before and ended up crashing the whole site, and I had to reinstall.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Talk to your web host. They should set it up so that the www and non-www URLs both work.

If you do change your WordPress and blog URLs to remove the www and something goes wrong, there is no need to reinstall, just see:
