    Hi, i'm working on a child theme for Twenty Eleven and have run into some trouble.

    My goal is to be able to hide the title and description and use the header image only, I would love to be able to achieve this without breaking the responsiveness on resize and at the same time retaining Twenty Elevens SEO friendliness but I feel kind of stuck on the puzzle here.

    All your help and ideas will be greatly appreciated.

    Why not hide the title and description using CSS in your child theme?

    It seems to brake the theme on iPhone? I might do it wrong / lack the skill to avoid it. I simply used display none on the title and description but that ends up in a mess on small displays.

    Don't use display:none. That will also "hide" it from Google. Use something like:

    #branding hgroup{
    position: absolute;
    top:-9999px;
    left:-9999px;
    }

    Thank you! That solved it perfectly.
