i used a plugin to remove the admin from the front-end veiw of the site, this seems so place a new fixed bar there, containing your username and a log-out button, but as you can see in the image below there is a space above it thats the same color, and because of this(i think) it is going over part of the header, covering the navigatoiin bar making it impossible to get to other pages.

Without a link to your site, no way to help except to suggest you use Firebug to look at the CSS code for that area of the page.

What image? Also, you really need to ask the plugin's developer these questions.
