Remove the "about text" box in Carrington 2.2

    I am trying to remove the “About Bicycle Design” box in the sidebar of my blog at http://bicycledesign.net. The site runs on the Carrington blog theme, and the code for the about text seems to be located in the sidebar-default.php template:

    I have tried to remove that section of code, but the rest of the sidebar content disappears with it. How can I modify it so that the about box disappears, but the rest of the sidebar content remains intact?
