Remove table of contents from blog excerpt

I would like to know how to remove the table of contents in the blog excerpt area. See example of what I mean for the biscuit blog, http://www.frostingsbysnow.com/blog/. I use Genesis Theme so if there is a code I can enter in their Simple Hooks plugin, that would be great.

Also, how do I add the heading “Table of Contents” or something similar so that visitors know what the links are?
