   Is there any way we could prevent the star from showing for selected widgets? When you add an advert, the star shows up, making it look rather ugly.

   This might not be exactly the solution you're looking for but it is helpful nonetheless and feel I should contribute it to the community.

   I've updated the mandigo wiki to show how to remove them from either one sidebar or another.

   You can see how I use this on my website about video games.
