    Hello,

There is some space above the header in this site: http://thetaxclinic.ie/ (my first WP site so the code is a little bloated!)

I have tried to trouble shoot with Firebug, viewed when not logged in etc. but cannot find the issue.

Appreciate if you could take a look at it.

    Joe

  • For some reason you have a Non-breaking space at the top of body. Find the piece of code that is inserting it there and you are done 🙂

For some reason there’s a HTML entity just after the <body> tag [screenshot].

Where did you get that theme from?
Have you tried deactivating plugins to explore whether any could be responsible?

Seems like it’s only happening on pages where there is a Google Plus link on top. I would start searching around this plus.google.com link. Can’t tell you more without source.

Thanks for the very quick and very useful responses!

    Found the issue.

This link <link rel=”canonical” href=”http://thetaxclinic.ie/”/>  is creating the space.

The theme is built (read: cobbled together) on top of the standard WP theme btw
