    I would like to remove the search widget from my theme that i'm using. It came pre-installed and there's no option to take it off in the widget options.

    the website is:

    http://www.3men1lake.com

    thanks in advance :)

    I think it's hard coded into your template. Check sidebar.php. Here's the section to look for.

    <div id="search">
    <form id="searchform" action="http://3men1lake.com/" method="get">
    <div>
    <input id="s" class="form-input" type="text" size="35" value="" name="s"/>
    <input class="search-submit" type="submit" value="Search" name="search"/>
    </div>
    </form>
    </div>
