    Hi!
My blog is this and a have a little problem. Under automatic excerpts are shown two links to the post page and I want to remove the “Read more…” one ( displayed just for posts with automatic excerpts).
I inserted a code to display the link for all excerpts and now the initial WordPress link just for automatic excerpts is a non sense.
    I appreciate your help!

  • Have you considered the how excerpts will end. I mean to have proper grammer? I ask because there may be a plugin that handles it, I’m not sure if WordPress read more link would have an action hook that allows such an ability but maybe it can be customized to end after a full stop.

Anyway more in direct to your question. You would normally need to edit your themes files. PHP and HTML. Something you should not do unless confident, well if you backup your theme you can just get stuck in.

You’ll need to look at single.php, archive.php etc. Can’t say much more because all themes are a little different else I would tell you exactly where to look.

    Thanks!
I dropped the idea. I won’t make any modifications, but now, I need to contact my hosting provider to restore the account. An update of WordPress deleted my database.
