Remove posts from home page with plugin? (2 posts)

    When I set up my site, I allowed comments to be posted without being moderated. I have since changed that after getting lots of spam posted.

    Is there a plug in I can use to remove the posts on the home page? Here is the link to see the problem:

    I do not have enough knowledge to use code to remove these posts, and am hoping there is a widget or plugin to do this.

    THank you.

    This procedure might delete more comments than you intend, so back up the database first.

    You can probably delete up to 100 at a time by following these steps:

    1. Go to Admin->Comments.
    2. Click on 'Screen Options' at the upper right.
    3. Enter 100 in the box next to 'Comments' and click 'Apply'.
    4. Click 'In Response To' in the title bar to sort by the post name.
    5. Page down until you see the comments in response to 'Back to the Cave'.
    6. Check the checkbox on the left for each comment you wish to delete. If you want to select all on the screen, you can check the box next to 'Author' in the title bar.
    7. Select 'Move to Trash' in the 'Bulk Actions' dropdown.
    8. Click 'Apply'.
