Remove Post Info (2 posts)

    Hey, I am new to this and I made a post and it has all this info below it in a gray box:

    This entry was posted on Tuesday, March 28th, 2006 at 7:12 pm and is filed under Announcements. You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0 feed. You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

    i don't want that crap there lol. how can i get rid of it?

    You have to edit your template for that. If you've using the default template, navigate to the "Single Post" template and find this:
    <p class="postmetadata alt">

    Everything within that P tag is that info in the gray box. Make sure you have a back up (some of those links you may want later, but in a different format) and then delete all the information inside the P tag. That should do it.

    Have you read the Codex? Several things there might make for some good reading for you.
