One of the reasons I don't like to join Forums, is that not only we're greeted by people who never even bother reading our original posts, but also greet us - the ones who need help - with sarcasm or unhelpful and out of context comments.

The other reason is that there's never a damn option for us to remove our accounts.

Since my humble request was met with sarcasm and snarky remarks - "why don't you put a link?" when there WAS a link, if only the lazy idiot had bothered reading the original post in order to be helpful instead of replying for gathering more points or what-not, I would like my account removed IMMEDIATELY.

    Thanks.

I don't think your own attitude helps really, the one person who might have helped was treated to a healthy dose of your own scathing wit.

If you're lucky, a site admin might delete your account.

  3. I keep saying it over and over again: Is you are not satisfied with the support here, get a complete refund. This is no way to treat a paying customer.

Wait, I keep forgetting. This is a free volunteer driven support forum. And I guess that's a snarky reply. Never mind.

I deleted Angelli's user and pointed to the other thread that caused the tantrum.

    That made me laugh!

Hello...I was also hoping to have my account deleted. I wanted to create another one with a different username that is NOT my email address. I didn't realize when I created the account that that was going to be the display name as well as the user name. Can you help me? Thanks very much!

    To Whom It May Concern,

Is it possible to obtain a refund for my WordPress site:

    http://pineygrovebaptistchurchnc.com

The person who was working on this did not understand that HTML knowledge would be a big part of creating the website. This is for a church, a non-profit organization, and he has gotten nowhere on the site.

I have taken over the ownership with a different opensource tool as I do not know HTML scripting myself. I would like for our church to be reimbursed, if possible.

Would you provide a contact email address please?

    Thank you!

  7. WordPress is free, so there's nothing to refund. Sorry that it didn't work out for you.

    Hi MacManx,

Really? I understand the tool was free, but surely there was a fee we paid to host it. Clearly, I am confused. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

  9. Yes, you'll have to contact your hosting provider if you want a refund for that.

Now I understand. That's what I need to find out.

Thank you very much. I appreciate your time.

  11. You're welcome!
