My problem is when someone goes to my home URL (mywebsite.com) if they are not logged in they automatically get redirected to my login page. And can not enter unless they log in. It was never like this until a couple hours ago. I unactivated all of the plugins that have to do with logins and i don't know what else to do to fix this. anyone have any ideas how to fix this? so people can actually visit my site without logging in?

Hi,
Check with your wordpress htaccess file and permissions of your blog with the help of your web hosting service provider.

Posted 2 years ago #thanks shane! but could you possibly give a little more detail if possible, i'm pretty new to this and i am looking at the htaccess file (file manager on cpanel) but i don't know what im looking at or even how to edit to give permission...is there an easier way to fix this? because i haven't messed with my cpanel settings in days and this problem only occurred a couple hours ago.
