    Hello,

    I have two different WordPress sites using two different themes, that have the same issue. The sliders are featured post sliders, and they are linking back to posts that have the featured images, and I don't want them to link anywhere. I created those posts, just to make slides for the homepage- I don't want any links on the slides. Is it possible to remove those links? Thank you for any assistance!!!

    You can go here for direct support, http://wordpress.org/support/theme/catch-everest , but it doesn't look to promising. Otherwise all you can do is wait until someone comes along who knows something about that theme,

    Can't this be done in CSS with:

    .slider-image {
        pointer-events: none;
        cursor: none;
    }

    The second site would be:

    .slider-cycle {
        pointer-events: none;
        cursor: none;
    }

    I have the same issue and this worked:

    .slider-image {
    pointer-events: none;
    cursor: none;
    }

    However, what about if i want to do it for specific slides only? The issue is that when i type this css in the custom css section it applies it for everything and i only need it for some of the posts.

    Thanks everyone, this answered my (same) question today of how to stop Catch Everest Free theme allowing links (when the images in the slider were clicked) to the posts which contain/hold those featured images for the slider. Perfect for my needs - great stuff.

    I'm having the same problem. I want to remove the links from my slider. I could use:

    .slider-image {
    pointer-events: none;
    cursor: none;
    }

    but where would I put it? I'm new to wordpress and CSS. Please help?

    In the future please start your own post.

    Put the css in the custom css section if you have one or create a child theme.
